London - It seems like everyone is shaving a quarter of their hair off these days (Cassie! Lala Vasquez! Kesh!), but in case you didn't know, we should probably be crediting London It Girl-slash-model Alice Dellal with bringing this look back en vogue. The left side of her head has been shaved for at least 2 years...

I love how British girls are so unabashedly bad ass. From the rocker-glam haircut to the inky black eye makeup, Dellal looks damn good, don't ya think?

Oh-So-Chic Evening Wear for Spring 2010

Manhattan - My full-time gig requires that I spend an awful lot of time running around town after hours attending galas, balls, and cocktail parties, and sometimes the ubiquitous LBD gets just a bit boring.

Whilst traipsing around Spring/Summer 2010 NYFW, I saw two evening looks that I need in my closet ASAP. Both SCREAM Carrie Bradshaw, but in a good way.

Isaac Mizrahi's peach tulle confection on the left is incredibly fun, but it gets smartened up with the white blouse under the tuxedo jacket. Badgley Mischka's frilly cream floor-length skirt topped off with a fitted blazer with nothing underneath.

Both embody the visual definition of sexy. One part nude, one part completely covered up.

Manhattan - So, I'm headed on a little journey in about 10 days, and I'm already planning my looks. I'm going from NYC-Vegas-Paris-Amsterdam-Copenhagen-NYC, and all I know for sure is that I'm rocking oversize tees, leather leggings, and blazers the entire trip, and my tips will be mint green, courtesy of the new Chanel hue, Jade. What to Wear: Las Vegas

Global - This time next week I'll be lounging in my luxurious suite at The Palms Resort in Las Vegas, getting prepped to party like shit all night long, before I board a 13-hour flight to Paris. (I'll explain later.) I'm currently in the midst of packing, and the one thing every girl needs in Vegas is something skanky, and something black. Why not combine the two? Thank the Lord for truly little black dresses.

I absolutely positively refuse to pay $880 for a dress, but this Herve Leger number does give me a bit of inspiration. The Forever21 frock has the same bandage look, but at a much friendlier price. As for the cutout detail, I could just pull the straps down on the Forever21 dress for the same sort of extra-skin-on-display appeal.

Global - I lived in London a few summers ago, and I absolutely LOVED it.

Everything except for the weather, that is. Of course I had heard about the constant rain in England, but you truly don’t understand it until you experience it day after day after day. Who knew it could rain SO much in such an amazing city?

And it’s annoying, because life doesn’t stop just because it’s pouring down outside. I’d still have to go to work, to the gym, the grocers, the bank, etc… and all of my cute stilettos and summer sandals were collecting dust in my closet. So sad. I was left wearing regular rain boots and sneakers for days on end. So not my style.

As far as fashionable rain footwear goes, I thought the best it’d ever get was Hunter boots (made stylish by none other than Mademoiselle Kate Moss), until I ran across these KORS Michael Kors Slickers.

Stepping out in a storm never felt so sexy. And completely comfortable. (I just bought a pair and I die.)

These brilliant boots are waterproof with a stacked 4” heel and a non-skid rubber sole.

Translation: Wear them in a snow storm too!

Sex and the City: Carrie Bradshaw's Closet

Manhattan - I have a confession to make. I still watch re-runs of Sex and The City, each episode like it's brand spanking new.

Yes I love the show's original plot, girls treating men just as disposable as they treat us, but I'm more enthralled by Carrie Bradshaw's amazing apartment, and closet of course.

In fact, my favorite scenes always take place in her closet. Remember when an inebriated Carrie and a very drunk Berger fell into the closet while kissing? Or when she couldn't focus on getting dressed because she couldn't find the words to tell Aidan that Miranda was pregnant by Steve?

Anyway, if you aren't a Manhattan resident, you probably don't understand how unrealistic having a closet like her's really is. (Unless you're a socialite, obviously.)

Just look at how big it is. She even has a chair in there! I know a few people who live here who have studio apartments smaller than her closet space. There are several shelves for shoes and purses, four different compartments for hanging apparel, plenty of drawers for tees and her unmentionables, and it leads to her loo. What more could a girl ask for?

Fact. When I buy myself an apartment, I'm buying a loft so that I can have a contractor build a plus-size closet just like this one. I actually think this closet is better than the fancy one Big built for Carrie in Sex and The City: The Movie.

But that's just my opinion. What do you think?

I was lucky enough to attend the Alexander Wang Spring 2010 fashion show this past September, and when I saw these shoes strut down the runway my heart dropped. I knew I HAD to have them.

Then last week, the ever-fabulous Faran Krentcil (at NylonMag.com) made my holiday season! Apparently they'll make it to market, and I'll do everything I can to make sure a pair belongs to me. Actually, two—I plan to wear them every single day, and I'll definitely need a back-up pair.
